Kids Meal - Dhal & Vegetables Rice



Ingredients

Rice - 6 tablespoons
Salt - as per taste 
Jeera - a pinch
Garlic - 2 cloves
Toor Dhal - 2 tablespoons
Turmeric powder - a pinch
Asafetida powder - a pinch
Pepper powder - a pinch
Carrot chopped - 2 tablespoons
Potato chopped - 1 smal size
Curry leaves - few

Method

Wash rice and toor dhal.

Put all the ingredients in the pressure cooker and add 1 cup of water and pressure cook it for 15 minutes on a low flame.

This recipe is for babies especially for 8mohts+ old babies and kids. If you are trying for 8 months old babies, once you cooked the rice mash or grind it before you feed the baby. If your baby likes poridge consistency add 11/2 cup of water or more to get a poridge consistency. Since my kids like to have as a poridge I used cook as poridge. 

You can use other vegetables also.
